Applications
One launch. The whole mission covered.
A tethered drone is not a faster drone. It is a different tool: a mast that flies, holding a camera at 130 feet for as long as the mission runs. These are the missions it fits.
Defense
Persistent ISR & force protection
A fixed aerial vantage over a perimeter, a forward position, or a convoy halt, held for hours. The tether keeps the aircraft in a known volume of sky, which simplifies deconfliction with other air assets and ends the battery rotation for good.
- Perimeter and base defense overwatch
- Route and convoy surveillance from halt positions
- Rapid setup: one case, one operator, minutes to launch
Public Safety
Drone as first responder & scene overwatch
DFR programs live and die on persistence, and the first 30 minutes is not the mission. The mission is the whole call. A tethered aircraft over a scene, a search grid, or a standoff keeps command staff supplied with a continuous picture for all of it.
- Search and rescue overwatch
- Standoff and tactical scene monitoring
- Fireground and disaster assessment
- 1.5 kW dedicated DFR system in development
Infrastructure
Critical infrastructure monitoring
Utilities, energy sites, ports, and industrial facilities get continuous aerial coverage on shore or generator power, with no battery logistics and no rotating aircraft to manage.
- Facility and perimeter monitoring
- Construction and project documentation
- Incident and storm damage assessment
Events
Venue & event security
This is the mission AeroMast was proven on: 180+ athletic programs fly our tethers over stadiums every week, live, in front of crowds and cameras. The same persistence serves festivals, races, and large public gatherings.
- Crowd and traffic overwatch
- Broadcast and production camera positions
- Fixed, predictable airspace footprint for event FAA coordination

In Development
Man-portable persistence
We are developing a backpack-carried tether configuration: ground station, power, and aircraft in a load one operator can carry to a rooftop, a ridge, or a forward position, then run for hours on battery or generator power.
It is the same idea as the Quantum, packed for the missions where the truck cannot go. Talk to us if your requirement looks like that.
Your Mission
Not sure a tether fits? Ask straight.
We will tell you straight whether a tether serves your mission or a free-flying aircraft is the better tool. If the tether is wrong for the job, we will say so and lose the sale. That is how we have built every relationship we have.
